COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO – As a result of resoundingly positive feedback from the Colorado Springs community, The Broadmoor Winter Polo Classic will be back for a second year to bring winter polo to residents across the Pikes Peak region.

Polo Operations Partner and Player / Founder of Los

Hermanos Ranch, Nicholas Francoeur, quoted, “The

Broadmoor Winter Polo Classic is one of the most fun

polo matches I have ever played in because of the

history of the sport in Colorado Springs and the energy

of the fans who I felt like were in the game with me.”

With over 900 attendees at the 2023 inaugural event, 

The Broadmoor and Colorado Springs Sports Corporation

are pleased bring the fanfare and glamour of polo back

to the Colorado Springs community.

The 2024 endeavor will take place at the Norris Penrose Event Center on February 24, 2024. The match will once again feature top polo players from around the country. The Broadmoor Winter Polo Classic will adhere to most of the standard, traditional polo regulations with the exception of the tournament taking place in a dirt arena instead of a grass field. Teams will be comprised of three players and play will consist of four 7-min chukkers (periods).
