COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO, As the highly anticipated Broadmoor Winter Polo Classic approaches, the excitement is building, and the roster of top-tier polo players set to grace the event takes center stage. Colorado Springs Sports Corporation, in collaboration with Los Hermanos Ranch and The Broadmoor, are thrilled to unveil a stellar lineup of elite athletes from across the nation who will compete in this prestigious tournament on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Norris Penrose Event Center.
Headlining this year's roster are some of the most distinguished names in the polo world:
ALEX KOKESH
Alex comes back in 2024 from a WPC 2023 victory. Alex was a crucial member of the 2015 Intercollegiate National Champion team while playing on CSU Polo men's varsity team.
ANDREW WILDERMUTH
Andrew also returns to WPC 2024 having won in 2023. The current CSU Polo varsity team coach, Andrew is a 2015 Intercollegiate National Champion and former captain of the CSU Polo men's varsity team.
BRIAN SALMON
Brian, a former Denver Interscholastic Polo team player and US Polo Association Interscholastic Sportsmanship award winner, is currently a part of the University of Virginia Polo team. Brian spent the summer playing across Virginia.
ERICA GANDOMCAR-SACHS
Erica is one of the top female polo players in the world having most recently played for Dundas in the 2023 US Open Women's Polo Championship. A CSU alumni, she is currently owner of the Denver Polo Club and the US Polo Association Circuit Governor.
NICHOLAS FRANCOEUR
Nicholas, US Air Force Academy alumni and recently separated Space Force officer, currently plays with La Dalila Polo - Hobe Sound Polo Club. Playing over the summer at Brandywine Polo, Nicholas is the Polo Operations Partner for the WPC event.
VINCENZO SANGALINE
Vinny is a US Open Polo Championship tournament veteran and player in the World Polo League. A CSU alumni, Vinny is currently an active member at the Aspen Valley Polo Club.

The 2024 Broadmoor Winter Polo Classic is scheduled to take place at the Norris Penrose Event Center at 2:30 PM on February 24, 2024. Spectators can anticipate a thrilling afternoon of fast-paced action and strategic plays as these polo champions go head-to-head.
